About the Journal
The Chittagong University Journal of Arts and Humanities (ISSN 1993-5536) is a peer-reviewed journal. Notably, it is a referred journal with high impact. It is published as a half yearly journal. It covers all disciplines in arts and humanities and always strives to be a platform for academicians, new researchers, authors, and Arts & Humanities scholars. It is published twice a year containing two volumes with papers written in Bengali, English, Arabic and Persian languages. It welcomes articles which deploy inter-disciplinary and comparative research methods.

কলা ও মানববিদ্যা অনুষদ প্রকাশিত একাডেমিক জার্নাল চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিশেষ করে কলা ও মানববিদ্যা অনুষদের শিক্ষকবৃন্দের গবেষণার প্রকাশনা হিসেবে স্বীকৃত। আমরা জানি, কলা ও মানববিদ্যা অনুষদ জ্ঞানের বিভিন্ন শাখা যেমন, ভাষা, সাহিত্য, শিল্প-সংস্কৃতি, যৌক্তিক চিন্তা, ধর্ম, ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্যে বিস্তৃত রয়েছে। তাই শিক্ষকদের গবেষণাও বহুমুখী চিন্তার প্রতিফলন। শিক্ষকদের পেশাগত উৎকর্ষ সাধনের জন্য একাডেমিক জার্নালে লেখা অত্যাবশ্যকীয়। সেই দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে এই জার্নালে গবেষণাকর্মের প্রকাশ অত্যন্ত প্রতিযোগিতামূলক। প্রকাশিত প্রত্যেকটি প্রবন্ধই অন্তত দুইজন রিভিউয়ার কর্তৃক সুপারিশকৃত।
বর্তমান জার্নালে ৪০তম সংখ্যায় ২১টি প্রবন্ধ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। যারা প্রকাশনার মাধ্যমে বর্তমান জার্নালকে সমৃদ্ধ করেছেন তাঁদেরকে আমি অভিনন্দন জানাই। সম্পাদকীয় বোর্ডও এই জার্নালটি প্রকাশ করতে পেরে আনন্দিত। আমি সম্পাদকীয় বোর্ডের সদস্যবৃন্দ, এই অনুষদের ডেপুটি রেজিস্ট্রার জনাব মুহাম্মদ আইয়ুবসহ অন্যান্য যারা নানা বিষয়ে সহায়তা করেছেন তাঁদের প্রত্যেককে ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাচ্ছি।
